Amber Makes Sewing Block Of The Month: The Haberdashery Panel & Instructions

Amber Makes Sewing Block of the Month is a series of twelve panels all featuring different sewing related items and using a variety of techniques so you can create and learn as you go. Collect and make them all to piece into a beautiful quilt when they’re finished. Each panel includes all the fabric needed to make the Block, an illustrated version of the block, and a bonus mini project too! 

The Haberdashery is based on the traditional Schoolhouse quilt block and uses simple piecing to create the house block which we have decorated with appliqué shapes to become our favourite shop – the haberdashery, of course. The fabric panel includes an illustrated version of The Haberdashery in the same size as the pieced block that you’re going to make. You can use this for other projects or in your quilt. On the panel you’ll find enough fabric to make The Haberdashery block with all the appliqué accessories too, the illustrated version and the pieces to make the pencil case for storing all your pencils and pens. The instructions show you exactly how to make these including the Sew Shopping tote bag featuring a drawstring top.

The instructions include the password to join the members only Amber Makes Sewing Block of the Month Facebookgroup where you can download a free set of instructions to create your very own Quilt Block Keeper for storing your finished blocks.
